Terms of Use

Terms of Use

1. Application of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply to all catering quotations, bookings and services provided by VMV Catering (ABN 94 680 285 616) (“we”, “us”, “our”) to any client who books our services (“you”, “the Client”). By accepting a quotation, making payment, or confirming a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Order Accuracy

It is your responsibility, as the person placing the order, to ensure that all order details — including the delivery date, time, location and on-site contact — are correct at the time of booking. We are not responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by inaccurate information provided to us.

3. Quotations, Pricing & Surcharges

  • All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, after which prices may be
  • reviewed.
  • All prices quoted are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices are subject to change in line with prevailing market and ingredient costs. Where a price changes between quotation and your event or delivery date, we will let you know before your event.
  • A surcharge of 10% applies to orders delivered on Saturdays. A surcharge of 20% applies to orders delivered on Sundays, public holidays, and to any after-hours orders, functions or events.
  • A minimum order value applies: $150 for orders delivered Monday to Friday, and $250 for orders delivered on weekends.

4. Booking Confirmation & Payment

Payment terms differ depending on whether you are placing a standard catering order or booking a full-service event.

4.1 Catering Orders (drop-off / corporate orders)

  • We do not require a deposit for standard catering orders. Payment is required prior to, or at the time of, delivery, unless alternative arrangements have been authorised by us in advance.

4.2 Payment Methods

  • We accept payment by direct bank transfer and most major credit cards, including Mastercard, American Express and Visa. Credit card surcharges apply.
  • If payment is not received as required, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and, for event bookings, release the date to other clients.
  • We do not offer extended or deferred payment terms (e.g. payment after the event or delivery date) for any client, including corporate accounts, unless otherwise agreed by us in writing in advance.

5. Cancellations and Changes

We understand that plans can change. All cancellations or changes must be submitted in writing to [email protected].

5.1 Catering Orders

  • Cancellations or rescheduling requests made more than 24 hours before your scheduled delivery or pick-up time are eligible for a full refund or reschedule.
  • We are unable to offer a refund or reschedule within 24 hours of your scheduled delivery or pick-up time.

See our separate Refund Policy for full detail on how refunds are processed.

6. Changes Made By Us

If we are unable to fulfill a booking due to circumstances within our control, we will offer a full refund of all amounts paid, or work with you to reschedule. Where circumstances are outside our reasonable control (see Clause 10), our liability is limited as set out below.

7. Dietary Requirements & Allergens

  • You must advise us of all dietary requirements, intolerances and allergies in writing no later than 24 hours prior to your delivery or pick up.
